London based lingerie designer Ayten Gasson is pleased to announce the launch of her new online boutique aytengasson.com
The fantastic new website makes it easier than ever to peruse and purchase vintage-inspired silk lingerie that graces stores and boutiques across the globe. Every range is easily accessible so you can check availability before making your decision – as well as keeping up to date with all the latest news and stockist details.
Ayten continues to utilize the finest lace in her latest range, once again going back to the roots of the British fashion industry to create an amazingly sensual vintage-inspired new collection.
The designer, currently in her 5th year, has launched her Spring Summer 2010 collection online using the finest and most delicate trims, many sourced locally from the old lace millsin Nottingham, UK and dating back over 30 years. Specifically using Leavers Lace, one of the oldest lace making techniques. “Nottingham lace is renowned for its high quality and beauty with Leavers lace being the most exceptional. Sadly with the demand for this lace falling it is no longer produced in high quantities. This is why I am constantly sourcing vintage lace to createsomething unique”, Ayten explains.
Shapes for this season include the Ayten Gasson signature Skirted Knicker and Kimono, along with soft bralets; full length slips, vintage inspired teddies and a classic
underwire bra. Matching pasties, eyemasks and cuffs are made to complete each range. Colours include Crimson, Azure, Antique White and Black, trimmed with Latte, Misty Rose and Ivory.
